Level 101
Beginner
You have never touched a machine and possibly never a needle or you have used a sewing machine before but need a refresher on threading the machine.
You will be ready to move to the next level when you can: Sew straight and curved seams while keeping a consistent seam allowance. Thread your own machine, wind a bobbin, and trouble shoot tension issues (with guidance).
Level 102
Confident
You can sew straight and curved seams while keeping a consistent seam allowance. You can thread your own machine, wind a bobbin, and trouble shoot tension issues (with guidance).
You will be ready to move to the next after learning how to: Properly measure yourself, create & adjust patterns, attach a waistband, finish a curved hem, sew on a hook & eye, sew on a zipper, hand & machine stitch buttons.
Level 103
Skilled
You can Properly measure yourself, create & adjust patterns, attach a waistband, finish a curved hem, sew on a hook & eye, sew on a zipper, hand & machine stitch buttons.
You will be ready to move to the next after learning how to: Draft patterns from measurements, adjust patterns to get a perfect fit and personalized style, have a knowledgable understanding of most fabrics and its uses. Self guided.
